Staff Appreciation Week

🌟 Staff Appreciation Week: May 4–8, 2026 🌟

Join us as we celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who make Westlake such a special place! From May 4th–8th, we’ll be showing our gratitude with a full week of appreciation activities across both the K–8 campus and the High School.

  • Monday 5/4 – Grab & Go Breakfast Burritos (K-8 Campus)/Taco Bar Lunch (HS Campus)
  • Tuesday 5/5 – Taco Bar Lunch (K-8 campus)/Grab & Go Breakfast Burritos (HS Campus)
  • Wednesday 5/6 – Kona Ice (Both Campuses)
  • Thursday 5/7 – Staff BBQ and Raffle (Both Campuses)
  • Friday 5/8 – Iced Coffee & Breakfast Bar (Both Campuses)

We’d love for our families to be part of the celebration! Parents and students are invited to share their time, gifts, ideas, and treats to help make the week memorable. Our teachers work tirelessly to support and inspire our students—this is our chance to show just how much they mean to us.

Students can participate in daily appreciation activities on both campuses.

  • Monday: Petals & Pictures (Bring your teacher a flower or draw them a beautiful picture)
  • Tuesday: Savory Snacks & Acts of Service (Bring your teacher a savory snack or do a good deed in class)
  • Wednesday: Sweet Sentiments (Treat your teacher to a sweet snack or write them a sweet note)
  • Thursday: True Colors Thursday (Wear an accessory – socks, hat, bracelet, etc – that’s your teacher’s favorite color)
  • Friday: Friday Funnies (Tell a teacher a funny joke or share a silly story)

Last, but not the least…Don’t forget to take a minute to drop a note of gratitude to a Westlake staff member (or a few!). The messages will be shared with them during Staff Appreciation Week. Deadline to submit is Wednesday, May 6th, so CLICK HERE NOW!
