Staff Appreciation Week

Hot-n-Ready Breakfast
- K8 campus: Breakfast burritos
- HS campus: Breakfast burritos
Stock The Workrooms/Grab-n-Go Snack Cart + Italian Soda Drink Station
- K8 campus: Baskets of grab-n-go snacks will be put in each work room for staff to access all day and will be restocked by WAVE all week for as long as supplies last
- HS campus: A fully stocked snack cart will be available in the breakroom for staff to grab-n-go and can also be wheeled around campus for delivery to the classrooms by admin
- Both campuses: A self-serve Italian soda drink station will be set up in the breakroom for staff to access all day
Student Action
- K8 campus: Bring a sticker to decorate your teacher’s door (Blank stickers will be sent home in the student’s Friday folders along with instructions and ideas for them to write a nice note to their teacher, draw a picture, etc and then bring it on Monday or any other day during the week to add it to a poster paper that will be on the classroom door.)
- HS campus: TBD

Continental Breakfast + Iced Coffee Bar
- Both campuses: Self-serve continental breakfast items and a self-serve iced coffee bar will be available in the breakroom in the morning for all staff
Student Action
- K8 campus: Wear something that’s your teacher’s favorite color – i.e. hat, socks, bracelet, etc (teacher’s favorites will be shared in advance with classroom parents via classroom ambassadors, or can also be found here Staff Favorites)
- HS campus: TBD

Kona Ice Truck
- Both campuses: Kona Ice will be available on campus for staff
Student Action
- K8 campus: Bring your teacher their favorite sweet treat or write them a “sweet note” (teacher’s favorites will be shared in advance with classroom parents via classroom ambassadors, or can also be found here Staff Favorites)
- HS campus: TBD

Taco Bar
- Both campuses: a self-serve taco bar will be available in the break room for all staff during lunch
Student Action
- K8 campus: Bring your teacher their favorite snack or do one good deed for your class (teacher’s favorites will be shared in advance with classroom parents via classroom ambassadors, or can be found here Staff Favorites)
- HS campus: TBD

Staff BBQ (& Raffle?)
- Both campuses: Admin will provide a BBQ lunch for all staff
Gift
- K8 campus: Teachers will receive a small gift from their classroom parents, which will be coordinated by the classroom ambassadors and should be around $30 value (something keepsake like a mug or t-shirt with student signatures, something tangible like flowers and chocolates or donuts, or something like a gift card, or other item)
- HS campus: TBD
- Both campuses: All staff will be given mini hand sanitizers with tag – “Hands Down, Westlake Staff is the Best Around!”
Student Action
- K8 campus: Tell your teacher a joke or share a funny story

Acknowledge I.F. Teacher Participation: teachers/admin who had the most incentive tickets used at international festival that they passed out will get a special recognition
