We are very proud of Westlake Charter School and the amazing job it is doing teaching our children in a positive and nurturing environment.
Our school is twelve years old and one of the premier elementary schools in Sacramento. We are a State of California Gold Ribbon School and we are consistently one of the top schools in our School District. We have been visited by many schools around the State because we are considered a model charter school for the innovative learning that’s happening at our school!
After 12 years of sharing campuses with other schools, our school will be moving to a new campus next year. Our school has made a huge commitment to ensuring that they have all the tools possible to help our students succeed. This year, the Olympic Triathlon will be raising money to install filtered water refill stations throughout the new campus. Additionally, they’ll be purchasing flexible furniture for my classroom. Both these endeavors will enhance our student’s day to day learning and we’re so excited!
As part of the Olympic Triathlon, our students will be showcasing what they are learning at our big event, the Olympic Triathlon. Each student will participate in an Art Project, a Spanish Game, and an Obstacle Course on that day, and all are looking for people to sponsor them as a way to earn money for their school!
